This course is delivered over a minimum period of 12 - 13 months.

Delivery Mode

Training is completed with 1 day per week for theory units and then students complete a 2 week block of machine training during their course.

This qualification reflects the role of a skilled operator working with Civil construction – Plant Operations, who applies a broad range of skills in a varied work context, using some discretion and judgement and relevant theoretical knowledge.

Qualification Detail

The successful completion of this qualification requires competency to be achieved in 20 units comprising of fifteen (15) core units and five (5) elective units.

Entry Requirements

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, although applicants will need to undertake an LLN assessment. Students must also be over the
age of 16.
