Course Overview

The STLI training is only appropriate for:

  • worksites which are of such a short nature and have sufficiently low impact that are site-specific risk assessment has determined that the work can be undertaken without the use of a Static Worksite.
  • individuals who do not impact traffic flow (e.g. lane closures and speed reductions)

There are no formal entry requirements for this course however to successfully complete the Short Term Low Impact Worker course, you must:

  • hold a Construction Induction White Card
  • successfully complete the TTM Short Term Low Impact course including actively participating in all class activities and completing any theory assessment

On successful completion of the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion which states that you have successfully completed the TTM Short Term Low Impact Worker course. This certificate will also have the statement below.

This certificate provides the individual with the skills to perform Short Term Low Impact duties in Victoria which excludes the individual from performing the functions of a Traffic Controller, Traffic Management Implementer OR Traffic Management Designer.
