Course Overview
The RII30920 Certificate III in Civil Construction delivers broad, practical training for individuals working, or aiming to work, across multiple areas of civil construction. This qualification reflects the role of skilled civil workers who perform a range of tasks involving road construction, infrastructure works, drainage, trenching, manual handling, and the safe use of hand and power tools.
Units of Competency
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification, although applicants will need to undertake an LLN assessment. Students must also be over the age of 16.
Government funding is available for this course. In order to be eligible for funding, students must meet all section criteria as outlined by the Victorian Government.

This course is delivered over a minimum period of 7 1/4 months. Training is completed with 1 day per week for theory units and then students complete a 2 week block of machine training during their course.
