ICT30515 Certificate III in Telecommunications Technology (Superseded as at 29/08/2019)

This qualification prepares an individual for entry into the telecommunications industry and its convergent technologies, including radio, optical,data and internet protocol (IP) networks. This qualification reflects the role of an operator in the telecommunications industry who can apply a broad range of competencies using a defined range of skills where some discretion and judgement is required in the selection, installation and configuration of equipment in convergence technologies that integrate radio, optical and internet protocol (IP) based applications.

Course Details The successful completion of this qualification requires competency to be achieved in 16 units comprising of seven (7) core units and nine (9) elective units.

Enrolment Eligibility There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Students who are colour blind may not be appropriate for this qualification.
Duration This course is delivered over a min duration of 6 – 12 months.
Delivery Modes AIVD offers tailored training, in a number of different formats being face to face, self paced, research, simulations, workplace practicals and supervised learning activities.
